This sweet family was visiting Seattle and wanted to capture the best of the city so we headed to Pike Place Market early in the morning (my favorite time there) and then Kerry Park. Unfortunately morning fog obscured most the view from Kerry Park but the fog did create a moody vibe.

This guy emailed me last month to book a photo session for him and his girlfriend during their visit to Seattle, and also mentioned that he'll be proposing on this trip. I asked him: why don't I just photograph the proposal? So we came up with a plan for me to leave a bouquet of her favorite pink roses at Kerry Park, a spot special to them, and wait while they walk there to the surprise. I had the help with a few generous people at Kerry Park to help keep the flowers safe and

This is one of my favorite Seattle locations, and on a weekday morning, you pretty much have the place to yourself.
