Light to mid-tone, neutral colored clothing generally make you look good, and they look good with spring flowers. If you're going to be amongst bright colorful flowers like the tulip fields or azaleas, I would avoid bright colors too that would compete with the background. Exception: if you have young children, adding a pop of color to their outfit like bright yellow rain boots could be nice. It can still be quite cold early in the morning in the PNW so make sure to layer

This was such a fun, light-hearted engagement session with a great couple at the UW Quad last weekend.

It was a wet and chilly early morning but so worth it to avoid the crowd and to enjoy the splendor of these trees. Thanks to these families for getting up early and braving the cold!

The dates listed below are approximate dates of peak blooms for each location based on past years, but they can change depending on the weather. If you're able to, please keep the whole weekend open for the dates you'd like, and the weekend before and after, in case of rain or in case flowers are not blooming yet.
